Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated 18 May 2026. Gardengro believes in helping customers as far as possible and has a liberal cancellation policy.
1. Order cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled free of charge within 4 hours of placement or before the order is packed and handed over to our courier — whichever is earlier.
- Once the order has been packed or dispatched, cancellation is not possible. You may refuse delivery, in which case the parcel is returned to us and refunded as per Section 4 below (less actual logistics cost incurred).
- To cancel an order, email support@gardengro.in or WhatsApp +91 99999 99999 with your order number.
2. When you are eligible for a refund
- The order was cancelled within the cancellation window.
- The item arrived damaged, defective or materially different from what was ordered, and was reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- A live plant was reported dead or in unsalvageable condition within the 14-day window described in our damage replacement policy, and a refund was chosen instead of replacement.
- The order could not be delivered to your address by the courier and was returned to origin.
- An eligible item was returned per our return policy.
3. When refunds are not issued
- For items explicitly marked “Final Sale” or non-returnable at checkout.
- For perishable plants where the customer did not follow basic care instructions provided at the time of delivery.
- For complaints raised after the 14-day plant guarantee window or the 7-day return window.
- For gift cards, digital products and custom planters.
4. Refund timelines
Once a refund is approved, it is initiated from our end within 1 to 2 business days. The credit then appears in your account as per the timelines set by your bank or payment provider, typically:

All online refunds are processed through our payment partner Razorpay. You will receive a confirmation email with the refund reference ID as soon as the refund is initiated.
5. Partial refunds
Where only part of an order is eligible for refund (for example, one item out of three), the refund will be calculated proportionally on the item subtotal. Shipping charges are refundable only if the entire order is cancelled or if the cancellation is due to our error.
6. Escalation
If you have not received your refund within the timelines above, first check with your bank or card issuer. If the issue persists, write to support@gardengro.in with your order number and we will resolve it within 5 business days.
