Return Policy
Last updated 18 May 2026. We accept returns on eligible items within 7 days of delivery. Live plants are handled separately under our damage replacement policy.
1. What can be returned
- Pots, planters, tools and accessories that are unused, unwashed and in their original packaging.
- Care kits and books that are sealed and unopened.
- Items that arrived damaged in transit or that are materially different from what was ordered.
2. What cannot be returned
- Live plants — these are perishable and are covered under our 14-day damage replacement guarantee instead. See /policies/replacement.
- Items marked “Final Sale” or purchased with a clearance coupon.
- Gift cards and digital products.
- Custom or personalised planters and made-to-order bundles.
- Items returned after the 7-day window or without proof of purchase.
3. How to raise a return
- Email support@gardengro.in or WhatsApp us at +91 99999 99999 within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a brief description.
- If the item is eligible, we will arrange a reverse pickup from your registered address. Reverse pickup typically takes 2 to 5 business days.
- Pack the item in its original packaging with all included accessories, tags and invoice.
4. Inspection and outcome
Once the returned item reaches our warehouse we inspect it within 2 business days. If the return is approved, a refund is initiated to your original payment method as per the timelines in our cancellation & refund policy. If the item is found to be used, damaged by the customer, or missing accessories, we will reach out before shipping it back to you.
5. Reverse pickup charges
- Free reverse pickup if the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product, transit damage).
- A flat ₹99 reverse logistics fee is deducted from the refund for customer-initiated returns (change of mind, did not like the colour, etc.).
6. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to swap an item is to return the original per the steps above and place a fresh order for the replacement.
